The first estimates reports that there were about two thousand people in the demonstration.

The campers had decided on a route that went past key agents of the immigration scandal but the police made them go on another route that went through basically nowhere.

However, they did get to the ferry port and no one got arrested nor beaten.

In one of the pics you can see the police protecting the Hotel Holiday Inn, which some times is used as a detention centre for migrants waiting for their own deportation.
