When there was an attempt to form Indymedia GB a couple of years ago the mods of Indymedia UK did everything they could to discredit it, build suspicion of the motives of those behind it and block its establishment. Part of that was a well organised denial of service attack on its server and a mass spamming of the email accounts of those who were involved.

Now Indymedia Northern has had exactly the same tactics used against it, some say by Chris, maybe he did, maybe he didn't although many in Leeds and Sheffield are convinced he did. Either way somebody did.

The message is clear, stray from the pack and expect to get hit.
