The absurd is that although the bad publicity of the issue the two immigrants they were prosecuted with Criminal charges and Jailed !! , while the perpetrators Greek farmers charged with minor charges in misdemeanour degree and set free. Manolada is an area in Greece where use immigrants (unofficially with no social security paid) to cultivate strawberries and in the past there were many incidents of immigrant misuse, beating and torture.
