Last weekend was a solstice open weekend at the Kew Bridge Eco-Village with activities including face painting, music, picnic area and children’s workshops, and I dropped in at the end of the day to take some pictures.
Considerable progress has been made on the site, but visitors are very welcome particularly if they can offer skills or labour, and there is much to be done. You can read more about it there update here:

and they are open and they are open from 11 am to 8 pm
The site is very easy to get to: a few yards from Kew Bridge Station (trains from Waterloo) and on several bus routes, nice cycling along the Thames towpath and on the somewhat notional South Circular Road.
