An Anarchist of London | 15.06.2009 22:58 | Anti-racism | Social Struggles

Hundreds of BNP fascists will be gathering at the Kimberley Hotel in Blackpool on Saturday June 20th, you celebrate the fact that they are now a mainstream political party.

After nearly 1,000,000 people voted for the BNP at the Euro elections, britains premier fascist party must have thought chrismas has come early. If you would like to welcome them to the world of mainstream party politics then head down to the Kimberley Hotel in Blackpool on Saturday June 20th.

lost by a couple of thousand in the NW MEP battle against Griffin.

For a decade+ now only 1/3 of electorate have voted, the not voting tactic has failed spectacularly, no way Iam doing it anymore. If anarchists werent doing it corrupt people would be trying to encourage apathy & non voting even more themselves cos it helps keep them in power & keep things right wing when the majority of people arent.
Yeh voting itself once every 5 yrs for a representative democracy is shite, we need a direct democracy, meta government with lots of referendums abit like ancient greece, swiss cantons mixed with the best of anarchism & mutual aid.Voting for the best candidate does not validate the system, it helps us hold onto the shreds of democracy our grandparent s& parents bled for at Normandy

Even Ian Bone stood for the Bristolian party recently.

I would come to this protest but Ive got a longterm commitment that day. Protesting at this is a good idea, goodluck but keep it fluffy, dont be provoked!.
They would love there to be violence by us in public, be great for their PR, lets give these lovely nasty shits enough rope to hang themselves & they will follow their other great leader

Ian Boneys election agent

"enough rope to hang themselves & they will follow their other great leader "

Do you mean Hitler? Cos I'm not a historian but I beleive there was significant conflict some of it even violent in the run up to his demise, yet that's a sensible argument to keep it 'fluffy'?

bemused

If your going to do owt, be as discrete as possible FFS, theres many millions who support antifascism, dont let provacateurs or egomaniacs put supporters off with a screachy demo that pisses off good locals.
We should have all gone down to Griffins place in Wales along time ago, is that blatant enough for you??.
Instead weve spent the last decade putting millions of good people off voting to supposedly invalidate the system? Is this strategy helping us or corrupt politicians & the BNP??

answers on a postcard please & some rock would be nice.

Didnt get any last time in Blackpool,a gang of nasties attacked me in the town centre, they did severley regret it though, bless em, self defence is not only legal, its no offence

no wonder your bemused
