unity of all irish people & people of the world in the 21st century & not go on about the past. The IRA did many atrocities & the Continuity IRA, Real IRA had & has fascist connections too.
i met some loyalists when up in glasgae for that g8 gig 4 years back. they were hoping we were gonna give the police a good kicking. they were really generous as well......
James - it's a bit difficult not to go on about the past considering how I found out about the loyalist march. This was on being contacted by traumatised friends who live in Leeds because they are refugees from sectarian violence in the North of Ireland.
Would you ask refugees from any other war to keep out of it when their persecutors followed them to the new country they were living in?
No Body - I've even met some kind and generous cops/ BNP voters/ City Financiers in my time - doesn't excuse the sytem they come from...
Everyone - why is it Irish history/present is often the issue that British activists are least concerned and sophisticated about. Ireland is a lot nearer than Palestine - as any republican from Derry could tell you. [seeing as they have been allied causes for decades] and there are still more British troops in occupation in Ireland than in Afganistan.
