BEWARE - New police or pharma infiltrator at work

Until all are free | 11.06.2009 07:08 | Animal Liberation

Evidence has emerged of a new police or AR abuse industry infiltrator in the movement.

General warning of who to look out for

Activists involved in animal rights work in two parts of the country have been comparing notes and are convinced there is a new infiltrator at work. This follows on from evidence that has been looked at in a couple of AR court trials where some people noticed that the evidence could only have been obtained by somebody who was present at some particular meetings.

Over the past three weeks we have been comparing notes and have narrowed it down to two people, one person is above suspicion and known for their devoted work over ten years the second however is quite new to AR circles and has been behaving in a way that convinces us she is the one.

The individual goes by a number of names including

Sarah Laurence
Sarah Laurenceson
Sam
Sammie

There may be others, "Sarah" is about 5' 8", dark hair, slim, no obvious tatoos three piercings on one ear and only one on the other. She has a history of offering help with transport and with printing of materials and often quickly offers her ability to have printing done by a friend.
She always has a grey Nokia mobile phone with her that she is often holding in her hand. It seems likely this is a recording device as it never rings and never seems to be turned on.

"Sarah" will often pop up when a new group is just getting off the ground with offers of assistence but then will not be seen for some weeks, she is secretive about where she lives often refering to "near London" or "South of London". She claims to own a rescue greyhound but nobody has ever seen her with it and she has trouble responding when asked about the dog's details. She has been seen driving a blue Ford Focus and an old white Renault van (about the size of a Transit van).

If "sarah" comes along to your meetings or attempts to join your group please be warned. We are 100% convinced she is a grass the only thing we do not know is if she is working for the police or somebody else, she may well be a journalist writing an undercover story but as she has passed info to the police that has been used in trials we think this is less likely.

Sarah Lawrence not Laurence

11.06.2009 11:08

Sarah Lawrence is a London cop who works on what is called by the police a response to the threat of domestic extremism in England and Wales. I doubt that is her real name but this was the spelling she used when she tried to get involved with the G20 Climate Camp planning earlier this year.

We sussed her as a cop very quickly and she was politely asked to leave a meeting. Her approach was to offer facilities for printing and for banner making, she knew some of the names of people involved with Climate Camp who came from Birmingham but when we checked with them she was unknown beyond a single meeting. She was seen at the G20 protests in civilian clothes standing near one of the FIT teams but quickly left when she was spotted and somebody shouted her name.

Climate Camp legal team is investigating if this type of policing is legal under the Human Rights act if anybody wants further information please contact us at the email below.

Need piccies

A picture's worth a thousand words they say. If you suspect people like this take a picture if they turn out to be ok then just delete it but if like you find out they are a graas or cop then it can be published and other groups helped.
