Dick Griffin | 07.06.2009 20:27

Just saw on Sky News that Nick Griffin was prevented from getting into Manchester Town Hall by anti fascists.

Get down there and support the demo!

Anti-fascist intolerance

07.06.2009 20:51

What's the problem with Griffin going to the town hall? It's a public building and Griffin has as much right to go there as anyone else.

Just what are these self-appointed 'anti-fascists' so kindly shielding us all from? And who asked them to do it?

I wonder if the 'anti-fascists' would provide us with a list of who they'll allow to do what. It'd be fun to read. What an elitist, contemptuous and arrogant lot these 'anti-fascists' are to think they they can veto something by their usual brand of loutishness if they don't agree with it. They are more fascist that those they pompously think they need to to protect the rest of us from.

The irony being that it's the fash who believe in "Might is Right!".

Back door

07.06.2009 21:33

Griffin eventually did get into the town hall via the back door. Doh!

The 'anti-fascists' obviously didn't send their brightest and best to the town hall did they? Remember to cover all the entrances next time eh?

Pete

Nick Griffin Cannot get out of Manchester Town Hall

07.06.2009 22:21

The brightest and best of the Fascists lost the opportunity for a triumphal entry of the Griffin into the town hall. So, no nice backdrop for posters - all the media shows him fo the skulking, convicted racist that he is.

Meanwhile, Fascisms brightest and best are worrying who will be arrested next - and they know why.

If you can't beat them, protest against them

the far left would do better to reflect on why voters prefer the BNP to themselves than to throw a tantrum at bad electoral results.

"Anti-fascist" is the biggest oxymoron i've ever heard
Its like "war on terror", or "fight for peace", or even "the department of defence"

"ant-fascist" ultimately, is an example of a group of people who enforce their ideals onto others which basically makes them a fascist group themselves.

I can only imagine that the sudden increase in anti-bnp means that consider the BNP to be a force to be reckoned with and one that is taken seriously. Afterall, you never saw people protesting against the monster raving loony party.

Your actions are the oxygen that the BNP needs to burn brighter. The more you try to sweep people feelings under the carpet through your brutal campaign of terror, the more people will move to far right groups because they have no where else to go.

best news I've heard all day

08.06.2009 01:20

This cheered me up no end.

Well done Manchester's antifascists.

Shall we have some definitions of fascism to educate Mr./Ms first comment or is it worth bothering with them?

Pete's probably just jealous.

Nick Griffin MEP

08.06.2009 07:04

Now that Nick Griffin is an MEP you anti-fascists will have to question the efficacy of all your anti-democratic antics.

Will we see you using your usual thuggery and intimidation at polling stations where you suspect people are voting BNP in significant number?

Pete

@pete

08.06.2009 08:33

pete we will use whatever method necessary to prevent the BNP's own anti-democratic antics. You ignorant fucker - wake up. Just remember that Hitler was also elected 'democratically.'
You can just sit at home waxing lyrical about freedom of speech as Europe starts to retrace that same path. Meanwhile those of us with a bit of foresight will smash these fuckers wherever we encounter them.

Nick Griffin now has a pension

08.06.2009 09:25

So he hardly needs the knuckle draggers any more. You have just been dumped by a convicted racist whose business failures have still left him better off than the average BNP voter. Now he can get his nose in the EU Expenses trough.

Lets see how long it takes for him to shut up about "expenses".

Not Pete

i don't get Sky news..

08.06.2009 23:47

so I heard about this too late on the radio. Nothing on Indymedia. Any chance that antifas could post info here as soon as they find it out & give me a chance to get there in time? Cheers.
