Euro election results and live blogging

Join in the fun

As everyone seems to love it when we go 'live blogging', including us, we're doing it again tonight for the Euro election results.

Although no-one seems to have any clear idea of which way the vote will go, there is a very real chance that the BNP could pick up a seat. We want to know if that happens as soon as it happens (though we'd much rather hear that Griffin and his nazi chums had failed miserably, of course), so any news re' the Euro's can go in the comments section to this post.

It's unlikely that any results will come through until 10pm at the earliest (though it'll probably be probably much later), so we'll be on and letting comments through as they arrive from then. See you later, folks. :-)

Mr Griffin MEP?

Surely all 'anti-fascists' will be pleased whether Griffin becomes an MEP or not. Either way the people will have made their choice of who they want to represent them in Brussels.

How can an 'anti-fascist' be disappointed with what the people want? I expect they will be though if the people decide to elect Griffin. We can expect an outburst of illiberal, elitist activity from the 'anti-fascists' keen to disrupt the meetings and other public activities of an elected politician. And we'll get the usual hypocritical posts on here from 'anti-fascists' who have decided that their sacred, self-appointed mission to protect the gullible, simple minded people from Griffin and others they disapprove of justifies all sorts of petty thuggery, intimidation and vandalism - exactly the kind of behaviour they claim to find unacceptable when others indulge in it.

How can 'fascists' be disappointed with what the people want? I expect they will be though if the people decide to imprison Griffin. When Pete was trolling on Stormfront he was threatened. Please be more considerate of his delicate feeling on Indymedia. He needs less pressure in his life.
