Roundhay accountant gives window-space to Marx

Chartered accountant takes a break from counting beans to educate passers-by.

One might wonder whether an accountant in a leafy suburb would have some spare time on their hands these days, what with the collapse of the economy and all that. To judge by this shop window it would certainly seem that they had time to dig out some quotations from the Big M, tootle up to the printer and get a poster made up. The newspaper clipping to the left seems to be advocating nationalisation of the banks (from 1993).

This makes a great change from what accountants usually have in their windows - "Be afraid, get a pension", "Get richer on the labour of the poor" and "I can show you how to avoid paying tax" being more ordinary marketing messages in this setting. Thanks, Sherman & Co!
