Shell told justice is coming

Activists made sure Shell staff arriving for work at the company’s London HQ this morning (27th May 2009) knew that the company will soon face trial for human right abuses in Nigeria.
Despite a delay to the start date of the trial, leaflets were distributed amid chants of “justice is coming”. The activists were brought together by the ShellGuilty coalition which comprises Friends of the Earth, Oil Change International and PLATFORM/Remember Saro-Wiwa. The global campaign will hold Shell accountable and demand that the company stop gas flaring in Nigeria.
