On the day US President Barack Obama signals for the enlisting of the power of fundamental values, Tamils continue to demand the British Government take action to help the Tamil people of Sri Lanka as they fall into unsupported statelessness.

The Tamils have been demonstrating for almost two months and have demanded the British Government act to prevent the massacres taking place on the island. Despite this, the British Government have failed to act in any meaningful way.

As a result there has been widespread loss of life, undermining the British Government, and the International Communities humanitarian legitimacy.

The protest is joined by Mr Tim Martin, a former British aid worker who lived in the North of Sri Lanka and who is now on day 4 of his hunger strike.

London, UK. 21/05/2009.

(An interview with pictures with Mr Martin exporing the conflict in Sri Lanka, its background and his experiences in the North of Sri Lanka will follow tomorrow Fri 22nd May.)

They are citizens of Sri Lanka. And that "wrongly identified" "Tamil flag" is an LTTE flag, the emblem of an internationally proscribed, recently defunct terrorist organisation.

We understand that' fact checker' works for the Sri Lankan government...and they may be wasting lots of money in useless propaganda since every post to indy on the Tamils gets lots of comments from SL collaborators. Hope they to bankrupt after keeping such idiots on payroll.
