EDO (UK) Directors Resign en Mass. Paul Hills LAST One Left

ITTs a Knockout | 17.05.2009 21:58 | Smash EDO | South Coast

Final cracks in EDO MBM appear to be showing as Brighton arms firm EDO MBM's holding company EDO (UK) Ltd loses all but one director.

On 12 May 2009 three directors resigned from EDO (UK) Ltd, the immediate holding company that own all five million shares in EDO MBM and sister company EDO Artisan in the US, and is in turn owned by ITT.

This brings the number of directors that have resigned from EDO (UK) to 10 since June 2008.

Paul Hills remains and is now sole remaining director and secretary of the company, the legal minimum under the Companies Act. He is also one of just three remaining directors of EDO MBM with Anthony Roberts and John Eaton

EDO (UK) has lost Joseph Daniel (assistant controller of ITT Defense USA), James Barber (President of ITT intergrated systems and business development manager ) , and Bruce C Scott (president of ITT Defence International).

Is this a sign? Did the Smash EDO street party of well over 1000 people 6 days earlier decide it for them, or was it Paul Hills public declarations in The Argus that his company had nothing to do with the arms trade, and was in fact only trying to drop bombs 'safely' with their large range of bomb racks, and arming units?

Who can tell? Perhaps another whistleblower will come forward and let us know.
