Election leaflet monitoring project

Julian Todd | 15.05.2009 09:35

Announcement of www.thestraightchoice.org for people to scan and upload election leaflets and monitor them live as they come through the door.

Please scan (or photograph) and upload all party political leaflets you get through the door and mark where and when they arrived onto the website www.thestraightchoice.org

See the blog.thestraightchoice.org for further details.

But basically the name is in honour of the famous Bermondsey by-election in 1983 between Simon Hughes and Peter Tatchell.

It's also sparked off the first analysis of the BNP leaflet with someone tracking down the sources of all the stock photographs used to depict supporters.

More stories likely to be shaken out when this website gets wide use.

This website has been built by the people behind www.publicwhip.org.uk and www.planningalerts.com so you can trust us, honest.
