One of the defendants has also asked that this be taken down for legal reasons.

To Lynn - what legal reasons?

11.05.2009 22:20

What legal reasons are you talking about Lynn? In the other thread it was said the person wanted it deleted because they wanted a quiet time and not to have their release speculated on. These aren't legal reasons. So what legal reasons are you talking about?

Confused

If it needs to be removed for legal reasons (although I don't believe that) then I fully support the removal of this newspiece.

Otherwise let's just celebrate that they have been released.

Not sure myself

and I am not going to speculate as to the legal reasons. Do bear in mind that they have not been sentenced yet and Indymedia is watched closely by the state. I am just doing what I was asked to do.

Fucks sake, indy, kill this fucking thread!!!

The rest of you:

i. It's now pretty much taken for truth that Luke wishes that his release receive no reporting on Indymedia because of issues pertaining to the upcoming court case.

ii. To speculate when you have not a large grasp of the inner workings of a court-case, and the judges decision, and to base an accusation of grassing on a comrade upon such weak foundations only makes you a fool.
