A battery farm is closeing down and its prisoners need good homes

'hens hunting homes - If you can help please contact littlehenrescue@ googlemail. com. Hi, 10,000 hens need rehoming from battery farm in Norfolk which is closing-down. If you would like a hen or two or know someone who would please contact littlehenrescue@ googlemail. com. Any not rehomed by 28 June will be slaughtered. Please pass this message on. Thank you.'

Groups and individuals from all over the country will be involved in this,so if u feel you can help please get in touch.

Could you confirm that the farmer is not profiting from this situation? If people pay the farmer for these poor creatures then that money will simply go back into more animal exploitation and so the cycle continues.

If they are truly rescues because the factory farm is going out of business then great. Otherwise you may as well just pop down to your local livestock market and "rescue" some animals from there by paying the market price, lining the pockets of the factory farmers in the process.

good point-my understanding is that the farm is closeing down,otherwise i wouldnt be involved cos i don't want to fund a battery farm by paying them!
