Ann Garrison | 08.05.2009 17:35 | Analysis

California is estimated, to be between the 5th and 10th largest economy in the world. Its energy decisions, and, particularly its decisions about nuclear power, have implications for the rest of the world.

California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger says that nuclear has a great future; he and his allies keep challenging our ban on new nuclear power plant construction, and, San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom is parroting his energy and transportation policies in his campaign to succeed him as Governor of California.
