Cameron Amused by Maggie/Boris Arty Funeral Poster Stunt

Lord Biro | 08.05.2009 16:29

Took my latest artistic poster “No State Funeral for Thatcher or Boris Johnson” up to Carlton-le-Willows School in Gedling, Notts on Thursday evening (7th May) to show to Tory leader David Cameron who was doing a Q&A session with local constituents.

As he and his entourage left the school building and drove up to the gate, I waved my poster in front of his car.

The car slowed down, Cameron and his blonde friend looked at it. His face broke into a broad grin, most probably at the second line.

So it seems there'll be no Westminster Abbey send off for Boris if Cameron has any say in it. Ken Livingstone will be pleased about that. Perhaps he'll vote Tory and get one instead?

I'll settle for a state funeral for Boris. As long as it's next week. OK then, next month, but don't keep us waiting any longer.

as for Thatcher

when she dies (soooooon) I'd like to see her body lie in state in Trafalgar square so people can line up to take it in turns to GOB on her!

Awful!

That's a DREADFUL suggestion, milksnatcher. You should be ashamed of yourself!

The corpse should go on tour round Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, South Wales, Yorkshire, Lancashire, Durham, Central Scotland etc. so that EVERYONE gets a chance. No more London favouritism!

Paying for it

I'll happily fund a fine state funeral for them both. If they die first tho, the deal's off.

State funeral

Although I'm totally against the idea of paying for a state funeral for this bitch when she dies. There is a precedent for holding street parties on State occasions. You can announce that you wish to close your street off.

This is usually designed for when our useless royal family gets married or a silver jubilee, but i'm sure a party to celebrate the death of someone who caused so much misery in this country could be organised in many places across the country.
