Film Night in Southampton 10/05/09

Subvert The City Arts Collective | 08.05.2009 16:26 | Globalisation | South Coast

Subvert The City Arts Collective presents an evening of independent film from 7pm in Southampton.

Last months film night ended with interferance from the police due to the extreme political nature of the films (animal rights). This will be the last before the summer and until we find a new venue who will kindly tell the coppers to knob off when they try and intervene.
Anyhow, this month we will be screening the two and a half hour long epic that is Zeitgeist: Addendum. This is a follow up to the award winning Zeitgeist, following on the theme from the end of the first film it focuses on MONEY. In detailing the process of money creation, the film suggests society is manipulated into economic slavery through debt-based monetary policies by requiring individuals to submit for employment in order to pay off their debt.
7-10pm
