Sheffield Station closed despite protests

Anon | 06.05.2009 07:29 | Sheffield

Sheffield Station was this morning closed to all but ticket holders despite the objections of the vast majority of sheffield residents who's taxes have been spent creating a much improved facility that they are now unable to use.

For more information about the campaign against the station closure there is the residents against station closure website.

Presumably the installation of ticket barriers is a response to massive revenue loss from the soap and fare dodgers of Indymedia.

Shame on the Station.
Shame on Capitalism that created it.
Shame on the Sheffielders who allowed them to create a farce down there without caring.

This is Shameful isn't it?
