Police Adverts - Overshadowed

The recent Police recruitment adverts, seem to have been overshadowed by their recent conduct. Behind every community bobby lies the shadow of a violent riot cop.

Whilst out cycling one night, the Space Hijackers noticed that some clever sort seems to have a key to the bus stop advertising boards.

As all of the police recruitment adverts in the east end seem to have a rather more sinister shadow added. We can only assume that the cunning pranksters simply cut out a cardboard cut out and then slipped it in behind the Police posters.

However they managed it, the effect was quite striking, and shows the police in somewhat of a more honest light. The beauty being that the adverts look normal in daylight, and it's only when the night draws in and the backlighting is switched on that they appear.

Yes - excellent effect but it will probably only enhance the recruitment effort.

but still worth reviving is the practice of mocking up the billboard posters for your local weekly or regional daily paper. Then just slip them behind the grilles. All power to the imagination with the content. During the queenie jubilee distraction / waste of money spectacle in 1977, for example, loads of the London Evening Standard billboards were found to be announcing "CANNIBALISM AT ROYAL GARDEN PARTY". I guess the down side is that a few credulous people may have actually bought the paper to ascertain the grisly details.

Even if you get caught doing this sort of insertion subvertising, old bill will have to think hard to find summat to charge you with. OK, I can think of something but I'm not going help them out with any ideas.
