This morning the National Front held an hour long demonstration at Greys Monument in Newcastle. Ugly fascist freaks from across the UK had been bussed in for the demo, and about 50 were there in total.

Local anti-fascists attempted to block the fash at the monument by holding banners in front of them. The fash proceeded to push anti-fascists before police moved in to drag them away. It was at this point that one of the activists was assaulted by police for apparently breaching the peace. She recieved cuts and bruises and was arrested on further charges of resisting arrest and assaulting a police officer. She is currently still being held, and it is not known if the charges are to stand.
