Mass Tamil demo on roads around Parliament

Tamils break out of Parliament Sqaure cordon

About 1000 Tamil protestors are demonstrating on the roads around Parliament. Westminster bridge is closed one way, front enterances to Parliament are sealed-not even staff allowed through. TSG are being deployed. Police running everywhere. Looked very heated but no signs of violence. Tamil marshalls getting people to sit down on the road and not spread up to the bridge.

Can anybody explain to me where the other anti-war groups are?

Where is the STWC, the SWP, the BMI?

In fact why are the Tamils not being supported at all from groups which seem to be everywhere else but here?

they also broke through the barriers at rear of square and have filled the grass, though the front barriers remain. members of the parliament square peace campaign have asked police to remove them as they may fall and crush people at the front. inspector woolof has been warned of the health and safety implications but has so far not done anything.

erm, what good would any of those mentioned do? syw etc would just get in the way. they seem to know what they are doin, and do not need the swp blockin the way, preventing people from direct action and breaking police lines, whilst attempting to sell them a newspaper.

Very suspicious. Either you are anti-war, or you are not!

Do we now need to have a debate about politics getting in the way of effective action? I.E are the SWP and the STWC simply government stooges who's first port of call in a crisis...is the government!

Exactly who are these groups and why is their judgement so appalling?

Are these pro-government groups posing as dissidents?

Illegal Fence

Twice last year I helped take down the fence around Parliament Square in full view of the police and they could do nothing as it is an illegal fence. If you can get down to the area then do so.
