**Vigil Today 6pm** for Palestinian killed in Bilin

Bassem Abu Rahma, who was part of the nonviolent protest at Bilin in the West Bank against the israeli apartheid Wall and racist settlements, was killed by the cowardly Israeli army yesterday.


Bassem, 29, was shot in the abdomen at short range with a new kind of high velocity tear gas canister, the same which critically wounded American solidarity worker Tristan Anderson in the head earlier this year. Bassem is the18th person killed by Israel at the peaceful demonstrations against the Wall.

Come join the solidarity vigil tonight 6pm outside the Israeli embassy in Kensington, and organise other vigils locally.

I'm sad to hear of these deaths but Israel needs to defend itself.

I wouldn't like all of the middle east to descend into homophobic, sexist and authoritarian nastiness.

Israel is an island of freedom in a sea of backwardness.

Israel needs to defend itself hence it massacres and wounds thousands of women and children!
Israel is a racist apartheid state illegally occupying Palestine! Israel governed by a bunch of atheist Jews who have no repect for Jewish religion let alone other religions, occupied by nasty squatters from Europe, America and Russia!
The squatters carry machine guns and terrorise the Palestinians every day. The seige of Gaza is inhuman and illegal!
Israel broke the ceasefire because it does not want peace. Israel wants to expand and occupy more land and control more water. Israel refuses to define her borders.
Israel imprisons thousands of Palestinians without trial. Israel tortures these prisoners they hold illegally.
Israel refuses the universal right of return of refugees they terrorised.
Israel targets civilians and uses civilians as human shields.
Israel targets Palestinaina fishermen. Israel refuses FOOD aid. Tonnes of FOOD rotting at the Gaza border.
Israel deserves to be wiped off the map just as they wiped Palestine off the map!
