Obama fighting on two fronts

In israel and against the AIPAC

AIPAC
AIPAC

When Netanyahu first met Bill Clinton at the White House he gave Clinton a half hour lecture on Israeli history and what Clinton must do to help Israel.

Netanyahu spoke as a senior partner telling his junior what he expected.

He could only do this because of the power of the shadow government Israel has in place in the US.

This shadow government, made up of the AIPAC and the rest of the Israeli lobby,
sets the agenda and policy of the US in the Middle East.

If Obama does not toe the AIPAC line he will find himself under endless investigations instigated by the Israeli lobby.

Cinton was investigated to a standstill and could think of nothing else except his defence.

The same can happen to Obama.

Obama might think he is slick enough to out manoeuvre the members of the shadow government he has appointed to his administration.

We will wait and see.
