FITwatch names FIT in Tomlinson death

The FITwatch blog has put names to some of the FIT team who were there when Ian Tomlinson was assaulted by TSG.

Having pointed to the difficulty of trying to identify coppers through visors and face masks, they say that two of the FIT may be Alan Palfrey (EK127), a part time FIT officer from Camden borough and Steve Discombe (CO2558) a full time New Scotland Yard CO11 public order copper.

As the New Scotland Yard lot often have the role of directing the actions of TSG and other police in public order situations, clearly there are questions that should be asked of them. Such as 'did you order the TSG to clear the streets using batons and dogs indiscriminately against anyone who was there?'

That would make CO11 as culpable for the death of Ian Tomlinson as the copper who hit him. Maybe more so.

Everyone one of those thugs who stood alongside the killer should be jailed. None of them came to Ian's aid.

Are we entitled to ask to see any pictures FIT take of us? Shouldn't we do that now to see what images we can find to support the multiple complaints being made against the police. Also, why not adopt this as a tactic every time we have a demo. If they picture us we want to see all the pictures.

It would be no surprise to many if it was Steve Discombe involved at some level in the death of Ian. He is known for his pathetic, bully-boy tactics and thuggery to peaceful protestors, as well as his illegal and unprofessional shacwatch blog. Numerous times he has been witnessed pushing over, assaulting and otherwise attacking protestors. Time to start looking for a new job Discombe, your time as a cop has been far too long already.

Just a note to everyone that deserves to know what a dodgy cop this so-called man really is.

..that netcuwatch have ID'd discombe correctly in this shot.

but anyway, yes, you are entitled to the pictures FIT take of you, although this involves a £10 data protection act application and identifying yourself to them with name, address and where you were when. Not everyone wants to do that, for obvious reasons.

I have had many personal dealing with the vile Steve Discombe, but I really do not think that is him in the photo. Am I the only one who thinks this isn't Disco Steve?
