New Footage of Ian Tomlinson being force to move him whilst it was "raining" bottles, o.k. one was thrown but that was stopped by the protesters and police say that they weren't deliberately trying to mislead the public.. yeah right... my a*s.

exactly - statement too misleading from the police

If you wanted to be generous to the police you could say well the situation may have changed a minute or so after the video was taken. But the witnesses that quickly came forward to give their accounts and comment on the press reports of police statements of a hail of bottles / missiles (and even at one stage before a retraction bricks) say that they were observing the scene until the ambulances arrived and there was categorically no hail of missiles at all:
The initial statements from the police were clearly lies.
