RBS: Fred Goodwin Speaks Out

Freddy | 08.04.2009 19:54 | G20 London Summit

Unknown source obtains leaked email from shamed RBS boss regarding G20 protests.

An email from ex RBS boss has been leaked to the press. Its explicit nature raises concerns over his state of mind following the attacks on RBS offices last week.

SIr Fred speaks out against the tactics of the MET police, claiming that they, 'should have spent less time trying to kill protesters and more time protecting our bloody property.'

He then goes on to discuss the repair work on the London office before calling for a complete redecoration of the RBS corporate division: 'We need to make our offices look more inconspicuous. Our logo is like a shining beacon to these anti-capitalists- we must rip it down! Lets make our branches look even worse than the bank of England did after all those crusty beggars went home!'

'RBS funds are low so we'll have to put the contract out to tender. In fact why don't we get the people to do it? They own 70% of these buildings - they should PAINT THEM.'

'Send out a press release. Tell 'the people' to redesign the exteriors of the following corporate branches on May 1st:'

Reclaim the streets - people and environment first.

Sir Fred.'

Is he serious?

'Crusty beggars'?
Cheeky bastard.
I was at the G20 protest and I pay taxes, work hard and resent that greedy pig who's worse than a benefit cheat telling other people that his former bank needs a makeover. That's not going to make the cheating and greed of bankers any more palatable to ordinary tax payers. Now he's retired, why doesn't he get on with the redecoration, if that's what he thinks is most important. What a tosser!

Okay fair enough, but it's not totally outrageous to suggest Fred Goodwin might have lost his marbles, if not his pension.
