Stop the war in Sri Lanka demo goes through the night.



The Tamil protest outside Parliament continues. Still dancing and lively demonstration at the front facing Parliament with drums, megaphone an chanting:
'Gordon Brown Open your eyes'
'Stop killing Tamils'
'Sri Lanka Stop the War'
The police were being good boys and girls and letting people through ok when I was there. No proper tents though, and people sleeping on placards covered in plastic sheets. Still good atmosphere. Solidarity to all.

The coalition of youth that has formed over the past two days and a night of tests and tribulations (an old man suffered a heart attack, many injuries including broken bones on youngsters) is on a fast unto solution. they have been understood to have been told that 400 can remain through the night.
Its windy and cold but high spirits.
Many are sleeping in the middle of a human circle joining hands.
There are probably 500 people here.
