Police physically attacked Ian Tomlinson prior to his death...

A video recently posted on the Guardian website clearly shows a police officer in riot gear pushing Tomlinson to the ground minutes before his death.

the cops are going to pay for this, if they think that a media bashing will be the end they are fucking wrong. Maybe a mass day of action against the NETCU headquarters in Cambridge is in order? NETCU are the guys who make the decisions on how protests are policed.

Sky News were running this as top story at 11pm Tuesday. This is actually quite big news.

After coming home on Thursday from the protests to hear my mum (my family are not radicals by any means) say she'd heard that "he was a City worker walking home from work who just had a heart attack at the sight of the rioting that he saw", I am so glad to hear that the truth is coming out. My faith in British democracy was totally trashed after being imprisoned and collectively punished whilst peacefully protesting on Wednesday, then further hurt by the media simply regurgitating the MET's lies on Tomlinson's tragic death. At least it has been very marginally restored by seeing the reports on this video all over the news.

Be interesting to see how the police wriggle out of this, as they always do. You can bet no cop will ever be held properly accountable even if it comes to court. Had Ian been hit and pushed by a member of the public you could expect several protesters to be immediately arrested and carted off.

Just how many dog handlers are there in the City of london police (different from the met and noticeable by their red and white check cap bands) not to many i should guess. also there are a few members of the Forward Intelligence Team present here also not to many members among their ranks. These officers can be identified by the jackets they are wearing bright yellow but with the unit unique blue patch on the top half of the torso and over the shoulders. But alas the Met officer who actually pushed the poor guy is convieniently wearing NO epalettes with his ID number on and has made a good job of hiding his features. 1 thing though is the way he is wearing his jacket copared to all the other officers. He wears his jacket tight around his waist where as all the other officers have theirs about their thighs.
Will they ever give this guy up for investigation dont hold your breath people.

This murderer is obviously guilty as sin, but if he gets more than a slap on the wrist I'll eat my hat.

And it's a nasty synthetic hat, not made of tasty eco-friendly fibres. (Hey, don't blame me, I found it, didn't buy it)
