I think people will turn up in anycase

I think people will turn up in anycase, it might be worth while trying to link up a few forums and get together on this one. 7:20pm? Anyone?

Alan

It is important information that he WAS NOT a protestor

07.04.2009 19:22

I say its important, because it is important for the family. To us its not important who or what the guy was, the importance is that a guy has been killed by police action an ABSOLUTELY NOTHING has happened in response.

This means that the cops can kill anyone and have no response from society. Unless we respond now we are complicit in our own repression.

Although having a demo a 7.20pm would be poignant, it would not be a suitable time for people who do not live in London, chances are we would miss the last train home. Since this affects all of us I would propose that an earlier time is arranged so the protest can be as large and forceful as possible.

Solidarity

I have seen the photographs and been reliably informed concerning the recent violent unrest in London. Though I am not able to physically be there I express now my concern, solidarity and support for those who demonstrated against the repression of the capitalist 'fact cat' culture. I deplore the contemptible lies police and their media supporters are spreading concerning the demonstrators e.g. that the young man bleeding profusely self harmed to attract attention - filthy lies!- and i deplore the police violence and condemn their visciousness in the strongest posstibe terms. I know from a measure of experience what police are capable of and I, frankly, have no time for them

Plod Kettling is the new dissent.

Everybody should turn up in high visibility jackets to avoid being missed.

This would help everyone concerned to know who are protestors and who are not.

It might help to form plod kettles to ensure that they are separated from non protestors.
