As far as the police operation concern, they probably needed to justify a 13m+ operation with
a couple of RAIDS the day after the G8... symbolic as symbolic is their new american car,
as dangerous as their new TASERS guns...


At present in Rampart raid there was an ITV embedded journalist inside the operation
with the TSG squad....

Also cops have been entering with their TASER guns on the hands instead of batons...
and in ONE situation in Rampart the gun was used unfortunately( for the bastard cop)
without success in the wall...

It's true - cop tried to taser resident inside ramparts

While everyone else was on the ground prone after the SAS style forced entry where the cops entered holding tasers like pistols, all pointed at people screaming at the top of their voices, another resident stepped out of a room and one of the officers immediatly fired his taser at him. Luckily it missed.

But you get the picture.

This was no ordinary police raid. The officers were super hyped and a film crew was embedded in tow to show london that something 'was being done'. PR action in effect.

All the more crazy that minutes before someone had come out of the house to speak to the police and see if there was any issue that could be resolved. But no, that wouldn't have made for newsworthy footage and so the assault on ramparts went ahead as planned.

Crazy.
