Police sealed of the Bank of England at 3pm this afternoon with the claim by an officer on duty there was a suspect package nearby.

Question marks over this claim are evident with the timing and in addition the fact that photogrpahers were able to hang around taking photos. Police tactics of planting evidence in protests and scaring protesters away are common practice and it seems if there was a package, allowing people to take photos and traffic to go by is highly irresponsible.

Careful, I believe it is now illegal to take photo's of the police! Probably now gets you 12 years in prison!

well it that was the plan it hasn't hit the headlines... so I wouldn't take too much notice of it, a bit unusal to let the traffic go past...

well

it is not illegal to take photos of the police

Section 76 of the Counter Terrorism Act *may* be used as an excuse by cops with something to hide, but that doesn't affect the legality of photography.

Yesterday I found two bottles of Bleech (full 5litters or so) and there was an obvious undercover cop in a car right next to it . in the last few days it has become impossible to live,I am tailed whereever i go, have been stopped by them, and harassed constantly! there are cops and undercovers whereever i go, and the tactics are changing, someone wants to screw all of us up. be very careful and think think think, who's hands are you playing into?

If you read what I wrote mask you would have seen I was questioning what they were saying. But maybe you didn't read it because I made the photos too large. Anyway I suspect they will come out with a lot of crap between now and tomorrow of which we all need to be careful. Good luck one and all.

Was the suspecty package perhaps Downing St & Mervyn King's 'bail out' package (raiding the pockets of the poor)?

Oh, no it's not!!! Because the Police generally only go after working class thieves (their own) and rarely ever the big fish.

Arf Arf!
