The Bishop of Buea Diocese of the Catholic Church said the church does not discuss condoms. "As a catholic church, we do not discuss condoms. It hasn't got a place. What the church is dealing with is not head-counting. The church is talking about spiritual and moral issues, which are of the highest order.

"Mgr. Immanuel Banlanjo Bushu, was talking to issues that was still making waves across Cameroon out of the Pope’s visit to that country. He granted an exclusive interview to AfricaNews. Our reporter Walter Nana Wilson had an exclusive with Mgr. Immanuel Banlanjo Bushu. Here are excerpts of the interview.Walter: What is your reaction having participated in the visit of Pope Benedict XVI to Cameroon? Bishop: I feel good. It has been a wonderful experience that the Holy Father had another opportunity to be back in Africa, through Cameroon.

Had a good look at the website and my eye must have ignored the pull of 'other conspiracys' because it acually came across a lot of detailed, scientifically investigated, peer reviewed information that suggests - as I have come to believe - that the deaths now atributed to AIDS in under-developed Africa are actually the same deaths that occured before its discovery i.e. diseases of poverty.
Would recomend the site for a more thorough analysis and study.
I am sure that there is much to be learnt from either side of this issue, but only by those who haven't conditioned their senses to metaphorically jam their finger in ears and go "la la la conspiraloon" ...

Evidence shows a lot of things, but what does it prove?
Evidence will also show that the common cold is exchanged within body fluids, but only kills when the body is extreme stress - as when malnorished due to the effects of poverty.
What evidence does not show are epidemilogical links between the prevalence of the HIV virus and deaths due to AIDS - remember the two are separate things, the former being a observed biological entity, the latter being an implied effect (ie a 'sydrome').
Auto immune supressing factors can be observed due to many environmental causes, including - but not exclusively - biological infection.
The predicted epidemic (and the knock on demographic effects) has not emerged and, accordingly, the link between HIV and deaths attributed to AIDS has not been conclusively made.
The above is a good site to start any investigation and, anyway, should not be ignored owing to any political/ideological positions.
