Pics: Militant Workers Bloc at G20 Demo

Bloc forming at the Enbankment ...
... the front banner starting to march ...
... including the G20's Meltdown contingent.
Passing in front of Britain's center of political power.
The bloc included a small group of the CNT spanish union.
... the Whitechapel Anarchists group ...
... No Borders network groups ...
.. The Anarchist Federation ...
But later on, the G20 Meltdown contingent somehow stayed behind and a big gap was created, which effectively separated the demonstration in two large marches. I am not sure how this happened, but from that moment on, the bloc was reduced to some 400 people with a clear anarchist flavour all the way to Hyde park's speakers corner. At 3pm, a small sound system with an open mic was set up away from the main rally for people to make their speeches which went on until around 5pm.
Contrary to mainstream and corporate media unsubstantiated scaremongering campaign claiming the usual "anarchist groups bound for violence", the demo passed completely peacefully, and with a quite low key police operation. Having said that, the ever present FIT teams and a couple of riot police vans followed the bloc throughout the day, and there are reports of one arrest at Speakers Corner.
