BNP To Demonstrate Near Luton Memorial

LUTON - HOPE NOT HATE | 25.03.2009 09:34

The BNP are planning a demo in Luton this Saturday (28th March). Be there to oppose it.

I have been reliably informed that the Luton & Bedfordshire BNP will be assembling for a demonstration outside the Luton Town Hall at 12 noon on Saturday 28th March.

This is a follow up to the disgraceful scenes of Nazi salutes, racist chanting and offering violence to the Muslim protestors demonstrating against the same Army engaged in hostilities in Iraq.

An anti-BNP presence will assemble at 11am nearby in order to tll the BNP where they can go - peacefully of course.

We don't want the BNP in Luton (nor anywhere else for that matter) so please cpome along and help resist the spread of Fascism - as witnessed recently in Broxbourne (Herts), Colchester, Southend On Sea, Epping and the increase in votes in the Luton area.

Also they are advertising a 5pm meeting on Sunday 29th March at the King Harry Pub, Fermor Crescent, Luton, LU2 9HU. Telephone: 01582 729099 / 0871 917 0007

I understand that the local BNP supporters meet at this pub from time to time.
Luton HOPE NOT HATE will get a petition going to persuade the King Harry Pub and others not to have BNP meetings on their premises.

To all those people not convinced of the increase support for the BNP, even BBC Look East televised a local BNP meeting last night at about 6.45pm (24th March).
They allowed supporters of the BNP to voice their fascist ideas and the broadcast was done straight- it put me off my dinner!! No mention of the idiotic ideas of BNP such as wanting the right for everyone to bear arms!

Don't let it happen again keep the Fascists Out!
My late father and his friends and contemporaries fought a long and bloody war against Nazis (WWII), many of whom gave their lives to defeat Fascism - the best way to remember the sacrifice they made is to make sure Fascism is ended.

Peace With Justice.
