Stop the deportation of Hussein Khedri

Dom | 16.03.2009 21:28 | Anti-racism | Migration

Please support our friend and stop his deportation, by signing the petition and then sending a copy of the letter to the Home Office which we'll post a copy up of very soon.

Hussein is youngest member of the Tuesday Night Project at the square centre, and is widely liked by all who attend. He was lifted in Loughbourough last Friday and has been taken to Campsfield Detention Centre in Bicester, Oxfordshire.

He is an Iranian national who is facing deportationto Greece on flight BA640 from Heathrow at 7:55 on Thursday 19th March, 2009.

The Greek asylum system has been widely condemned for its unjust practices and allegations against Greek officials are being investigated. Contrary to the Dublin Convention II, Hussien Khedri's claim will not receive the requiste level of attention. Also, an independent medical report has confirmed that Hussien Khedri is a minor. Furthermore, NASS continues to support him. We demand the Home Office suspend his removal until further investigations have been conducted.
