Lawsuit Filed Against Huntingdon Life Sciences

Huntingdon Life Sciences (Life Science Research) has reported the filing of a purported class action lawsuit against the Company in connection with the proposal made by Andrew baker to buy all of the outstanding shares of the company.
The lawsuit was filed on 9 March 2009 at the Superior Court of New Jersey, Chancery Division and it names Andrew Baker, all other members of the Board of Directors and the Company itself as defendants.
The lawsuit claims amongst other things that the directors have breached their fiduciary duties in respect to Bakers proposal.
Huntingdon Life Sciences say that at this time, that none of the defendants have been served with the lawsuit, but if they do they will respond appropriately.
