This will probably last a few days, the same thing has happened briefly in dozens of countries but they back off after bad publicity... if it persists though, there's plenty of ways around web censorship, either use software such as Tor, or redirect proxy sites such as Anonymouse or Megaproxy.

Britain is behind a censorship firewall as well, run by the Internet Watch Foundation - it got revealed recently after they made the mistake of blocking a Wikipedia page and fucking up British users' access to Wikipedia.

YouTube also censors btw, mostly when politically motivated critics post false complaints (e.g. Scientology vs their critics), but I've also seen pretty innocuous anarchist vids rated as "adults only", presumably for showing clashes with police. Similar images of clashes in news reports on Youtube are NOT so classified, and they appear on TV news pre-watershed, so the politics is evidently the determining thing.

OK - if you have an afternoon to get your 'censored' message out: use Wikileaks, upload to rapidshare with links posted to online forums, and if you get the chance upload to the Torrent network using Mininova (no registration required). You could even use Onion Routing (TOR) to upload something small like this using Torrent, though it may be against the spirit of things.

Basically: Fuck Youtube - you're an idiot if you think it's the friend of the hidden message.
