University Blockades Students
11.03.2009 17:22
Security and management staff have stopped students from having access to water and food by blocking all entrances to the occupied building. They are now threatening arrest and expulsion of students for protesting the university's war-related activities...
We need you help to stop the University form violating the students basic human rights to food, water and to be able to protest at where the university is investing their money.
Please call and complain about the way students are being treated by University management and security staff:
Call:
Vice Chancellor, Chris Brink, at 0191 222 6064 to register formal complaint.
Also other relevant staff are:
Student Wellbeing Service (you can make a formal complaint against the University) at 0191 222 7699
John Hogan at 0191 222 6078
Head of Fine Art, Irene Brown at 0191 222 60 48
Security Services at 0191 222 6817
All help is really appreciated, the Uni is managing to aggressively bully students out of protesting and this needs to be resisted.
Pass on to anyone that can help
Cheers!
please complain!
