According to the scientific network PROMED, Baxter International Inc. in Austria unintentionally contaminated samples with the bird flu virus that were used in laboratories in Austria, Germany, Slovenia and the Czech Republic.

There are approx 6.7 Billion humans on earth and only a few hundred deaths have resulted from avian flu. This equates to a statistical infection rate of about 0.000000004215 percent. In other words, statistically speaking, you are over 100,000 times more likely to be hit by lightning while on the toilet than contract avian flu. So why have billions been spent on vaccines for an avian flu pandemic? Has a more deadly strain of avian flu been engineered?
