You fucking wallies, change you're acronym. You've just attempted to usurp one of the most respected groups of antifascists in recent history - and its an acronym being used my AFA groups in several european countries.

AFA will always mean Anti Fascist Action in politics.

Theres no Usurping going on, i have been involved in AFA stuff and also AFA stuff, so there :-)

Evidently Scotland indymedia is run by a bunch of communists with their own agenda - anarchy not being part of that agenda ANY posts relating to Green Anarchy on that site are immediately deleted/censored.

don't change your acronym but don't use it as the sole title for your post!

It would be crazy to expect acronyms to never collide since they are only so many to go round.

But it was silly to publish a post with the title just "AFA". I clicked it expected to read about Anti-Facist Action. Other people may not have heard of either organisation and so probably won't click on it, even if they are anti-farming.

My suggestion would be: put a title like "Anti-Farming Alliance website launched". It would be good for you and good for Indymedia too.

The same advice applies in general: most people will decide whether or not to read your post amongst all the others based on the title, so make it as meaningful as possible.

AFA means Anti-Fascist Action to anyone with serious politics. Thankfully serious politics and the farce of "green anarchism" (or "black-clad misanthropy") have nothing in common and as such there is likely to be little confusion.
