Leeds Earth First takes direct action against ecological destruction. It's
been a while since Leeds EF! was very active and it's time it was revived.
We need to get more people into taking direct action on ecological issues
and there needs to be more radical actions. This meeting will discuss the
potential aims of an EF! group in Leeds and how we should organise. It will
network campaigns that are happening now including the Coal Caravan, GM at
Leeds Uni, Ledston open cast mine, Rossport solidarity, Leeds Bradford
Airport, support for coal train activists facing a major court case and
any other issues people want to raise as well as discussing ideas to get
more people in the area inspired to take direct action and raising the
profile of radical politics on ecological issues eg though street stalls
and events.

This will be the first of hopefully fortnightly meetings to get us
organised, talking about action and ultimately get actions happening.
