"During the recent onslaught on Gaza I was attempting to work on an art project. I found it almost impossible to concentrate on anything though other than the constant barrage of news coming from Gaza about the destruction Israel was wreaking on a largely defenceless population. The comic was a response, of some sort, to my inability to understand this aggression, how pointless art appears when governments are willing to use such obscene violence to maintain their control." - Hey Monek Riot

Guys:

The world is falling apart around our ears. The earth is running out of resources. Africa is being raped at a rate not seen since the 19th century - millions are dying. A superpower is beginning to collapse. In a few decades agriculture in Europe might be impossible due to climate change. The government are assembling a vast database of constantly updated records on every citizen. And the police have issued a report predicting open revolt by the summer.

Ranged against a world in peril, the fate of some miserable, benighted province of Jihadistan is just not that important.

Enjoy your life, don't waste it campaigning for the rights of baby-killing terrorist loons who had their chance at peace and threw it away nine or ten years ago. You've got your own problems.
