On Valentine's Day, Feb 14th, activists descended on DC from places as far away as New York, Philly Baltimore and Virgina to protest fur (at stores) and vivisection (HLS home demos). Time was taken out from this to protest the horrific suffering in Gaza at the home of the Israeli Ambassador.

Protests began at Marlene Nicholson's house, who is the director of Government Relations for Barclays. Barclays is the number one institutional investor in Huntingdon Life Sciences (LSR). Marlene, you have installed several security cameras on your home and in your backyard building as well as the entire perimeter of home because of peaceful and completely legal demonstrations. Marlene and Barclays, don't you think this is wasted money, as the only thing you need to do to make these protests stop is to sever ALL ties with Huntingdon Life Sciences and not “invest” in any animal testing companies, get an ethical policy... it will all be over! Just remember, Barclays does NOT need HLS, but HLS NEEDS Barclays! Activists chanted messages like, “For the animals we will fight.... and “Marlene Nicholson, If you want to get some rest......CUT YOUR TIES WITH HLS”.

After that, Alice Rivlin (2838 Chesterfield PL NW) of the New York Stock Exchange (HLS (LSR) listed on their electronic board) got a home visit. Announcements were made that the NYSE needs to completely delist HLS (LSR) and not even attempt to list them on ANY alternate trading service, as they tried with the supposedly anonymous ARCA exchange. Also, Alice, your campaign contributions to May Cheh to ban home demonstrations in DC was highlighted. Nothing will stay anonymous when dealing with the campaign to close Huntingdon Life Sciences (LSR)! This is a promise, Alice and your cohorts in the NYSE/ARCA. As darkness began to fall, lights came on in her home, indication she or someone was probably inside.

Next in line was Jennifer Luray on 3554 Appleton St (government relations for Abbott Labs). By now it was fully dark, as was her home (and her heart). Neighbor's homes were lit up, and police lights allowed ghostly photos to be taken. Because of your involvement with puppy killing, primate mutilating, rabbit blinding ways for useless products! Jennifer Luray, you should seriously consider a career change, because Abbott labs is involved with animal testing and YOU will be a constant target of peaceful protest by people speaking from compassion!

With over two dozen people on hand, the cops didn't try any funny business, like prior protests in DC.

Why Valentines Day for HLS? because undercover investigators found HLS employees sending hearts and eyes ripped from animals as Valentines' Day gifts! Why Valentine's Day for fur? Because now is the time for people to "have a heart" and stop wearing and selling $10,000 fur coats! Why Valentine's Day for the Israeli Ambassador? Because to let a person responsible for so much human suffering pass while those responsible for animal torture are punished in the same neighborhood would be the height of irresponsibility!

In Washington DC, there is NO sleep for the wicked!
