Big Issue support for SHAC

The Rottweiler | 16.02.2009 19:03 | SHAC | Animal Liberation | Bio-technology | Social Struggles | South Coast | World

The Big Issue has printed an advert for SHAC. It's good to see support in a magazine bouth by ordinary, good people all the UK and that is sold in a good cause. Please support the Big Issue and buy one. Please also write to the Big Issue and say thanks....AND write letters pointing out that Big Pharma is contributing to homelessness in Camden with plans for a deadly lab in Camden.

There are plans to build a deadly virus lab in Camden on a Camden Council house estate at Brill Place, alongside St Pancras Eurostar, behind the British Library on the Somers Town estate. This has been criticised by MI5, MPs, councillors, residents and businesses. The lab is likely to contain deadly contagious diseases such as anthrax and bird flu. Foot and Mouth disease was leaked from similar govt facility Pirbiright in Surrey. Such a leak so close to major transport hubs would be catastrophic.
The area has 15,000 people on a housing waiting list and has only 25,000 council homes. The plans for the lab are in defiance of the council's own planning brief calling for 50% social housing.

The support shown by the Big Issue shows how the public REALLY feel about places such as HLS and the way that the Labour Government who are propped up by such places are influencing lawmaking on behalf of these corrupt places.

Good to see these supporting what others call "a bit "extreme"...

17.02.2009 01:22

Define "extreme".
Rescuing animals.
Rescuing Jews in 1930s / 1940s Germany.
Rescuing slaves 400 years ago.

Some people who have been helping the UK state manchine to target anti pharmaceutical industry "extremists" and who have also been targetting people who save animals should feel ashamed.

There is every chance that a DEADLY lab - deadly in many ways is on it's way to Camden....It's time to help activism not hinder.

Remember that Nelson Mandela was called a terrorist.

Did they receive an advert in there for free or have shac simply place an advertisement in there? In which case, they're not really 'supporting' shac.
