Community Security Trust - Meat-heads for Israel

Picked up by an impressive number of news outlets today:
"The number of anti-Semitic attacks on British Jews rose sharply after the start of the conflict in Gaza, according to the London-based Community Security Trust, which monitors anti-Semitism and works to safeguard the Jewish community in Britain."
From CST's own website:
"CST provides physical security, training and advice for the protection of British Jews. CST assists victims of antisemitism and monitors antisemitic activities and incidents. CST represents British Jewry to Police, Government and media on antisemitism and security.
"CST has a proud heritage dating back to the Jewish defence organisations formed in the 1930s to combat Oswald Mosley and his followers. Today the principal threats to the community are terrorism and antisemitic attacks."
...which, presumably, is why they sent twelve goons down to beef up security at Hillel house (by Euston Station) 2 weeks ago, where Israeli Colonel Geva Rapp was due to give a talk to students about his part in Operation Cast Lead, the offensive in Gaza which left roughly 1300 dead (including hundreds of children) and thousands wounded.
Well, not only did we send the war criminal packing back to Israel (he tried to take his roadshow to Birmingham next but they gave him short shrift up there as well) but we did it without expending more than a few words of contempt on the puffed-up little CST cowards who were swaggering up and down with the full protection of the riot police.
"Security". Bit like their use of the word "defence", really, isn't it?
