Anti-capitalist feminists | 08.02.2009 16:01 | Anti-racism | Gender | Social Struggles
New Venue: SOAS, Thornhaugh Street, Russell Square, London. Accessible venue.
Timings are the same: Sat 14 February, 10.30am - 6.30 pm
Join us on Saturday 14 February for Gender, Race, Class: an anticapitalist feminist event. We hope the event will provide us with a forum to come together, participate in open debate, learn from each other, develop strategies to work towards our common aims, make alliances and inspire each other to build a strong and active feminist movement from the bottom up.
The day will offer 12 workshops which explore the ways in which sexist, racist and capitalist exploitation take place in our society and will look for opportunities to challenge these together. We hope to involve as many people as possible, or all genders, in the campaigns that will be at the centre of this event.
