Salford University intends to make 150 staff redundant in 2009.

at the Old Fire Station,The Crescent, Salford,
opposite Maxwell Building, University of Salford.

Students and workers have united to fight this. Staff trades unions and the Students Union have joined together to form 'Salford University Defend Education' (S.U.D.E).

cut the pay of them upstairs who are paid a lot for fuck all

There's depression going on.

Less tax revenue for the government means fewer government funded jobs, including those at Salford University.

How typically elitist of university types to think they should be immune from the realities of vulgarities like money and the economy.
