Attempted chicken liberation - one arrested

In response to the recent imprisonment of ALF activists and prompted by the recent TV exposure of the conditions that a British Standard Chicken is rasied an ALF cell in the south attempted a mass liberation this weekend.

Disturbded during the operation all made their esacpe succesfully but there has been one subsequent arrest.

....you mean the recent imprisonment of SHAC activists, who had nothing to do with the ALF (and definately weren't ALF activists themselves!)

solidarity to whoever has been held, although calling them an ALF activist doesn't help their case if they are pleading not guilty, given that their charge is only trespass...

While some of these details may be true; someone has had his house raided last night. However, this does not mean they are part of the ALF, and you should certainly not be claiming as such.

Posting such information is always a deliberate attempt by cops to smear an individual especially if they are facing court over an action. By claiming them as part of the ALF it makes them sound part of something more serious.

Any real activist knows not to claim others who have been arrested as ALF activists or part of an ALF cell. This has happened for many of the past arrests; mysteriously posts appeared saying 'the ALF had been caught in action'. It was revealed that a string of posts during this time were in fact from police officers. This is probably no different, so beware.
